"Life is best when shared." The first thing God pronounces as "not good" is loneliness (Genesis 2:18). However, with over 6.4 billion people in the world (according to the CIA), we sure find ways to be alone. Is there a system, or a program, or an organization that deals specifically with loneliness?

Jesus called His movement "the Kingdom of God." Over and over, throughout the Scriptures, throughout the movements God initiates and empowers, there are always communities; small groups of people simply doing life together.

VIA is committed to discovering true community. Not simply to meet our needs. Not simply to provide company. Not even simply to help when desperation arises. Community provides all those things, but deeper than that, true community fulfills the ache of the human heart for belonging, and forges us to becoming more like Jesus which denies ourselves for the sake of the Kingdom.
